After having lost some precious digital files from my 5D (bloody unreadable and breakable CDs), investing back in film is still the best way to get a peace of mind and results and also smooth and beautiful pics as most of MAGNUM and VII ones.
This camera is rugged, awesome and cheap nowadays (second hand), and the feeling when pressing the shutter is amazing. Combine this camera, some L lenses, and a TRI-X film,
and you just get ready for years. If you can process your films at home this is the ultimate tool. A camera that will last for years and that won't deppreciate. Of course if you want less inquisitive camera and noise stick with leica, but the problem with my leica is to focus fast as full aperture. Still got a better rendering in grey tones though. But in low light I recommend the eos 1V + 35/1.4 L. You can check my january gallery for some B&W pics, these are scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V (50).
Cheers.
